Booking Your Appointment
Please contact your local Drop Dead Pest Control Office to make your booking. This can be done by telephone or email. We have shopfront offices at Menai and South Hurstville and you are welcome to simply drop in and arrange an appointment. Our office hours are Monday – Friday from 9.00am – 5.00pm.
When you make your appointment it is a good idea to have in mind what day of the week best suits you and whether you would prefer a morning or afternoon appointment. Our technicians and Inspectors work Monday through to Saturday from 7.00am – 5.00pm.
Our friendly staff will contact you the day before your scheduled appointment to confirm the time and the technician that will be attending to your service. Contact is made either by phone call, email or text message.
Most services we provide require internal access to your home so it is necessary for you or your nominated representative to be home at the time of your service.
Payment for Services Provided
Once your service has been completed, we will provide a Tax Invoice. Payment is required for the service rendered on the day at the time of treatment. Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, cheque or cash. Please note that we do not issue credit accounts.
If we have confirmed your appointment with you and we arrive at your property and there is nobody home and we cannot completed the arranged service, we will need to charge a service call out fee to cover the cost of our technician or inspector attending.
Cancellations or Rescheduling Your Appointment
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we would appreciate al least 48 hours notice. This way we are able to allocate your appointment time to another client.
Access to your Home & Property
As stated above, most services we provide require internal access to your home so it is necessary for you or your nominated representative to be home at the time of your service.
We would appreciate if you could unlock external gates and provide clear access for our technician to manoeuvre the hose around the external perimeter of your home. We also require you to provide parking for our technicians vehicle on your property as we are unable to park our vehicle out on the road to perform some services.
It is important that you secure your pets inside the home or garage if we are completing a spray treatment to your home and property. It is perfectly safe for them to be there whilst we are completing our treatment. Of course we do understand if you wish to remove them from the property whilst the pest treatment is in progress. Once the external pesticide has dried, your pets can then enter the yard areas. We would appreciate if you could advise us when you make your appointment if you have a fish pond in your yard. Fish are sensitive to pesticides and the pond needs to be covered. We do not spray near fish ponds.
Duty of Care
Whilst we are at your home, we will respect your personal belongings and property and take the utmost care whilst completing our work. And yes we do remove our boots before coming into your home!
If we see an additional potential pest issue whilst we are completing our service, we will advise you of our findings and recommend the best course of action.
We offer a warranty on most services we perform. However with some particular services, due to the nature of the pest or the situation, we cannot give a warranty. Our technician will assess the situation and offer the best warranty available under the circumstances at the time.
Should you have any concerns during the warranty period with the pests we have treated at your service, please contact our office and speak with our friendly staff. Once we have established what your concerns are, we will have our technician return to your property and investigate these concerns as soon as possible.
