PREPARING FOR YOUR SERVICE
We will need to access all internal floor skirting board areas (within reason) to be able to apply a light pesticide spray along these areas to provide a treated zone for any ground crawling pests to cross over, groom themselves and die.
Please move any items away from the skirting boards at least 10cm to allow our Inspector access to treat these areas effectively. Areas that cannot be treated will be a limitation on the warranty.
Please secure pets inside or in the garage, as advised by our staff on booking. In the case of external fish ponds and bird aviaries, we request you cover these with a tarpaulin prior to our visit. Pet droppings externally must be picked up and disposed of please as our spray hose will be moving along the ground in your yard.
Please remove any washing from external clothes lines and bring inside any external items that you do not wish to have sprayed.
Please close all external windows and doors.
Please store away all food items in the refrigerator or cupboards in the kitchen.

- WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR SERVICE
As stated above, it is often normal to see pests for a short period after your service. This is because the pesticide is designed to flush pests out of concealed areas before it takes effect.
The pest will ingest the residual pesticide through the grooming process and will die shortly after. If you have any concerns after your service and during the warranty period, please contact our office and we will ask the Inspector that completed your service to contact you with advice.
If you experience an ant problem after your service, this indicates that you could possibly have an underlying nesting ant problem at your property that may need addressing. The General Pest Treatment pesticide, whilst it is wet, will kill general ants wandering around but if there are nests in wall cavities, subfloors, roof voids or other concealed areas, you will need a specific Nesting Ant Treatment. This is an additional service using completely different pesticides and baits depending on the severity, location and species of any present. They take these products back to their nests and eliminate the ant colony. If it is within 2 weeks of your General Pest Treatment, we will complete this service for a reduced price. After 2 weeks the full Nesting Ant Treatment cost will apply. If this happens after your service, please contact our office for advice.
- OTHER INFORMATION
TIME REQUIRED & ACCESS

German Cockroaches
- GERMAN COCKROACH SERVICE
German Cockroaches can innocently be bought into a property and if left untreated, they can multiply rapidly and quickly become a health issue. Our German Cockroach Treatment is specifically designed to flush out and eradicate all living German Cockroaches. Unfortunately as no pesticides can penetrate the egg case, and there may be many eggs laid in concealed areas, a follow up treatment can often be required as thirty to forty baby cockroaches are contained in one egg case.
- Ensure there is clear access to the areas to be treated.
- Place all food items and food utensils away in cupboards or the refrigerator as applicable.
- You do not need to clear out your cupboards
- WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR SERVICE
On the day of treatment we flush all the living German Cockroaches we can find out of their harbourage areas and kill them. A residual pesticide with an Insect Grown Regulator is left in place to keep working after we finish. When mopping your kitchen floor, please stay at least 10cm out from the skirting boards to ensure the residual pesticide is not disturbed for as long as possible.
After your service you may still see German Cockroaches emerging from concealed areas. They will die shortly after coming into contact with the pesticide or you can spray any remaining ones directly with a can of pesticide spray.
A German Cockroache egg contains 30-40 live baby cockroaches and as no pesticide can penetrate the egg casing, and there may be hundreds of eggs laid in concealed areas that we cannot access, these eggs will hatch over the next few weeks. If there is a severe infestation and there are quite a number of cockroaches that hatch, you will require another follow-up treatment to be completed. If this is conducted within 2 weeks of your initial treatment, we offer a discounted price. After 2 weeks the normal service price will apply. Please stay in contact with our office if you have any concerns.
- OTHER INFORMATION
AREAS TREATED

PESTS NOT INCLUDED
This treatment is for German Cockroaches only and does not include any other pest.
PAYMENT
Payment is required on the day of service

Flea Treament
- ABOUT OUR FLEA TREATMENT
Our Flea Treatment is a comprehensive spray treatment to all accessible internal flooring areas of the home and external ground areas of the property adjacent to the building. We also treat any areas such as subfloors, where possible, and garages if that is where affected animals sleep. The products we use include a Residual Insect Growth Regulator to control any new fleas that hatch from any eggs laid in the home. It is important to have this product included in the treatment as the products currently available to treat fleas cannot penetrate the egg casing. This breaks the breeding cycle of the fleas and the problem is solved.
- Please follow the specific Instructions for a successful treatment. It is important we work together with our clients to achieve an effective result.
- Externally – Cut the grass around your home just before our treatment to allow for better penetration of the pesticide to the soil areas where fleas and eggs will exist.
- Internally – Vacuum all carpets and rugs to remove as many live fleas and flea eggs as possible. Place the contents of the vacuum cleaner in a sealed plastic bag and place in your garbage bin.
- Have any rugs professionally steam cleaned beforehand – we can then treat these on the day also.
- Remove all items (within reason) from internal floors so we can apply a thorough treatment.
- Wash pet bedding in hot water
- Treat your pets with the appropriate Flea Treatment provided by your Vet.
- Arrange to have you pets away from the property whilst the treatment is in progress. It is safe for them to return once the pesticide has dried internally and externally.
- Post Treatment – Do not walk over treated areas until the pesticide has dried. Vacuum the floors every day for at least week to remove any dead fleas and eggs after the treatment.
- WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR SERVICE
Once we have treated all the internal and external areas and the pesticide has dried, it is fine to walk over the treated areas and pets can return to the yard. Please only spot mop your floors over the next few weeks to ensure the residual pesticide can do its job. The treatment kills live fleas on the day and the residual keeps working on any fleas hatching from any eggs laid in concealed areas. Sometimes a Flea Treatment can take up to six weeks to be successful depending on the number of eggs laid. It is for this reason that we request that you vacuum your floors every few days for as long as you can to remove any dead fleas or loose eggs and their casings. The contents of the vacuum cleaner should be placed in a sealed bag and placed in the garbage bin, not put back in your cupboard.
Any remaining eggs will continue to hatch, move through the residual and die until they are all gone. If the infestation is quite severe, you may require an additional treatment or we may suggest you use a can pesticide spray if you are finding it difficult to live through the hatching process. Please ensure any pets such as dogs and cats are treated with the approved medication regularly as directed by your Vet and their bedding is also washed weekly.
- OTHER INFORMATION
TIME REQUIRED AND ACCESS
The Flea Treatment usually takes between 1-2 hours depending on the size of the home and property. We will require access to all internal and external areas including the, subfloor, garage and garden area.
PREPARATION AND AREAS TREATED
To ensure the treatment is effective, it is important that you prepare for the treatment. We provide a pre-treatment information sheet for you to follow before our technician arrives to ensure we can completed our treatment effectively. This sheet is available in the Information section of our website or you can click here. Areas treated are all internal flooring and external ground areas around the home, including accessible sublfoor areas and garages where pets may have visited.
WET WEATHER
Light rain at the time of treatment does not affect the Flea Treatment. As water is a carrier for the products we use, a little extra water enables the pesticide to be carried deeper into the soil. If the weather is hot and dry at the time of the treatment, we usually soak the ground with water before commencing our treatment to ensure it is effective.
PESTS NOT INCLUDED
This treatment includes Fleas, All other pests are not included in this treatment.
PAYMENTS
Payment is required on the day of service
WARRANTY
Unfortunately no warranty can be offered for this treatment. If there is a heavy infestation a second treatment may be required within two weeks. This is at an additional cost.

Termites
- TERMITE INSPECTION
We use a Thermal imaging camera, Termatrac Moisture meter and Borer scope that enable us to detect any items that may be of concern that are concealed by wall linings, floors, ceiling plaster etc, without the need for physical penetration and damage. The items of concern that can be identified include termite damage, termite sub-nests, termite mud leads, presence of moisture, moisture damage and any other structural building issues.
This involves a thorough inspection of all potential entry points, such as roof void and under the house, veranda, sills, joists, concrete blocks, cross-ventilation, landscaping, and any extensions attached to the house, fencing, trees and stumps around the house – up to a radius of 50 metres checking surrounding bushland and as well as inside the house including high moisture areas such as the bathroom and laundry. We also inspect any physical barriers that were installed during the construction of the house, such as termite shields.
We ask that, if possible, you be available for the inspection. It is good for you to be aware of what we are looking for and where we are looking for it. A thorough inspection will show you how to identify any potential risk.
- We will require access to all areas of the building and property for inspection, including the garage, sheds, roof void and subfloor areas (if applicable) and any other storage areas.
- Please unlock all external gates for easy access.
- Remove any stored items against the external wall areas of the home where possible.
- Ensure any stored items are moved away from internal walls for a thorough inspection.
- TERMITE TREATMENT
1. Depending on what is found, our pest control experts may suggest completing a full Termite Inspection on your home and property to find out exactly what is going on.
2. Our Inspector will come to your home and investigate the area in question for you.
3. Depending on the findings of the Termite Inspection, if there are live termites it may be necessary to start treating the termites as soon as possible so they don’t cause any further damage.
4.Our Inspector will assess the construction of your home and the type of termites present and advise of the best possible treatment options available to eradicate the from the home and property.
5. We will provide a proposal and quotation including information on the available options and once this is decided, we can then proceed with commencement of treatment
- TREATMENT OF ACTIVE TERMITES
In the unfortunate event that termites are discovered in your home or on your property, once the eradication process has started this will involve appointments every 2 weeks until eradication is complete. Once the termites have been eliminated, it is our duty of care to recommend installation of an appropriate termite management system to provide on-going termite protection to the home. Other future termite colonies can use the highways already created under ground by the previous termites to gain straight entry to the home, so we will recommend protection of these entry points and the home as a whole.
- TERMITICIDE TREATED SOIL ZONE INSTALLATION
Once the treated soil zone or reticulation system is in place to protect the home against further or future termite attack, it is important to note that that any applicable warranty for the products installed will only be honoured as long as our recommendations are followed regarding regular Termite Inspections. Once payment is received on the day of installation, we will issue you with a Certification of Installation and place a Durable Notice in your meter box for future reference.
- PRE-CONSTRUCTION TERMITE PREVENTATIVE INSTALLATION
Once the pre construction termite prevention is installed and payment is received, we will issue you with a Certification of Installation. It is important to note that any applicable warranty for the products installed will only be honoured as long as our recommendations are followed regarding annual Termite Inspections.
- OTHER INFORMATION
TIME REQUIRED AND ACCESS

Clear access to all the above areas for inspection will give you the most thorough result. If items can be moved for inspection before our arrival so we have clear access, it would be appreciated.
The inspection is a Visual Termite Inspection where we will inspect and test all areas inspected. It includes use of all our electronic equipment also, such as our moisture meter and Thermal Imaging Camera to check all internal walls and the use of the Termatrac termite detection unit if further inspection is required of any suspect areas found upon inspection.
WET WEATHER
If the weather is wet or is lightly raining, we will still be able to complete this inspection. If the rain is heavy, we usually give our clients the option of completing the internal area inspection including the subfloor, roof void and garage and arrange another date to return to complete the external area inspection. Or we can reschedule the inspection to another suitable time and date for you.

- ABOUT OUR BEE AND WASP REMOVAL
WASP TREATMENT SERVICE
- Ensure there is clear access to the areas to be treated where wasps and their nests are present.

- WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR SERVICE
Where possible our Inspector will remove paper wasp nests once treated. On some occasions, depending on the location of the nest, it may not be possible to physically access the area safely to remove the nest after treatment. If this is the case, please do not be concerned as paper wasps out foraging will return to the treated nests and die once they come into contact with the residual pesticide.
BEE REMOVAL
In the unfortunate case where problem bees have not been able to be saved after assessment by our Beekkeeper or Inspector, they will need to be treated. Bees that have entered weepholes in wall cavities or roof voids and have set up hives, unfortunately will have to be treated to stop further damage to the property and risk to people that may suffer from anaphalaxis. Once they have been treated, removal of any hives, honeycomb or repairs are the responsibility of the property owner.

Rodent Treatment
- ABOUT OUR RODENT TREATMENT SERVICE
Rats and mice are not only unhygienic and carry disease but can also cause great damage to a property. Our rodent service includes a complete inspection of the property to locate any evidence of rodent activity. Once our technician has assessed the level of rodent pressure at the property and what areas can possibly be proofed, they will make a recommendation on what is required to eradicate the problem.
Pests that are treated are rats and mice.
- Ensure there is clear access to the areas of the home and garage where there is access to the ceiling roof void and sublfloor areas
- WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR SERVICE
On the day the service is completed, our Inspector carries out a thorough inspection of your property locating any evidence and possible entry points that give them an indication of where the issues are and what the possible rodent pressure may be (how many are around) at your property.
Based on the above information, our Inspector has estimated the correct number of rodent baits to be installed and has placed them in strategic and safe positions around our home and yard to deal with any rodents entering. These baits are usually secured in the roof void or subfloor or in lockable tamper proof rodent stations around the external perimeter of your yard.
Once rodent bait is installed, you may hear some or see activity on the baits over the next day or two. Things generally settle down after that and all being well, enough bait has been installed to deal with the issue and some bait will be left to deal with any more that come along. Once activity has ceased, it is now time to fill or proof any gaps in walls, floors, etc as directed by our Inspector at the time of inspection. Also any trees overhanging or near the building providing a bridge for rodents to the building should be trimmed away.
If you have received a rodent bait box key and feel comfortable doing so, you can check the baits installed in the boxes and any baits placed in roof voids and roof void and subfloor. If it is within 2 weeks after your initial rodent inspection and you require more baits (due to all the baits being consumed or noises continuing) we are happy to waive another call out fee and install any additional baits required at a small cost for the baits only. If it is more than 2 weeks, a call out fee will be charged along with any additional bait required. Please contact our office to arrange another appointment.
We cannot offer a warranty on rodent services because it is impossible to know the population of rodents we are dealing with and how much bait they are going to eat. Our Inspector will make a judgement on the day and they will install, with your permission, what they believe reasonable.
If you notice a very bad smell coming from a particular area, unfortunately on the odd occasion a rodent will die inside the building. If this is the case and you are unable to locate it and remove it, we are happy to provide this service to you for a call out fee. We also have Odour Bags to purchase if the rodent has died in an internal wall cavity and cannot be located or removed.
- OTHER INFORMATION

Possum Removal
- ABOUT OUR POSSUM REMOVAL SERVICE
Possums are cute but not when they are living in your roof, making a mess and keeping you up at night. Our service involves inspection of the area involved, proofing where possible, setting and monitoring of a possum cage, removal of the possum from the area and release into the wild. Possums are a protected species and it is necessary to have a license to capture them.
Ring Tail Possum and Brush tail Possum species are treated.
- Ensure clear access is available to the areas where possums are present.
- Ensure clear access is available internally to the roof void or area where possums are residing
- WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR SERVICE
Once any possums have been removed and the appropriate entry areas proofed, the problem will be solved. Unfortunately this does not mean that possums may not find other areas to try and gain entry to the structure. Whilst we are solving the problem for you, we address all physically accessible areas that may provide entry however sometimes we may recommend another trade such as a roofing expert to address any areas we cannot access. We offer a warranty on our proofing installations. If there are any issues, please contact our office
- OTHER INFORMATION
TIME REQUIRED AND ACCESS
The initial visit will involve a thorough inspection of the areas involved and location of any possible entry points that will need proofing. We will require clear access to the roof void area. Any possible entry points will be proofed where possible and a possum cage will be set with an apple inside the cage. This could take 1-1.5 hours depending on what is involved. Large areas to be proofed where possible, will incur an additional charge and take extra time. Some proofing jobs require a roofer to be engaged separately by the homeowner.
PREPARATION AND AREAS TREATED
We would appreciate if you can move any items at the home that may interfere with our access to the roof void area. Once the entry points have been proofed, we will place a possum cage in the roof void area. This cage will need to be checked daily by either the homeowner if possible or our technician. We will require access to the internal area of your home to complete these inspections so you or your representative will need to be home. We will be treating the Roof voids of buildings.
WET WEATHER
If the weather is wet, we will do what we can internally. If it is raining and the work involves going on to the external roof we may deem the work to be too dangerous to complete at this time. In the event of this we will need to reschedule the appointment to another more suitable day.
PESTS NOT INCLUDED
Rodents, bees, termites and birds can also cause noises in the roof void area. Once our inspection is complete we will advise of what treatment is necessary depending on our findings and will address the situation accordingly to solve the problem for you.
PAYMENTS
Payment is required once the work is complete and the possum/s have been removed. We accept cash, eftpos, visa and mastercard
WARRANTY
12 months warranty is provided on all proofing work to the areas proofed at the time of service. Additional proofing to new areas of entry are not covered under our warranty. Additional possums caught will incur an extra charge per possum.
