We understand the vital role bees play in our environment. They are essential pollinators, and wherever possible we work to protect and preserve bees rather than destroy them. Treatment is always considered the last option.
If bees are located outside and not inside a structure, we strongly encourage you to first contact a local beekeeper who may be able to safely collect and rehome the bees. Quite often, bees that are swarming outside (such as on a tree or fence) will move on naturally within a couple of days without intervention.
However, in cases where bees cannot be saved — for example, if they have established a hive inside a wall cavity, roof void, or other inaccessible structure, or if they are creating a serious safety risk to residents (especially anyone who suffers from anaphylaxis) — treatment may unfortunately be necessary.
In these situations, our licensed Inspector will assess the infestation, and if treatment is required, it will be carried out with the utmost care to resolve the problem quickly and safely. Once treatment has been completed, please note that removal of hives, honeycomb, or any necessary structural repairs remain the responsibility of the property owner.
No. Treatment is our last option. We always look for ways to save and relocate bees first, either by engaging a beekeeper or allowing a temporary swarm to move on naturally.
