Rats and mice are not only unhygienic pests that spread disease, but they can also cause significant damage to your property. During our service, one of our licensed Inspectors will carry out a thorough inspection of your home and yard to identify signs of rodent activity, possible entry points, and the level of rodent pressure (how many may be present). This allows us to develop a tailored treatment plan that targets the problem effectively.

Based on the inspection findings, our Inspector will install rodent baits in safe and strategic locations. These are typically secured in roof voids, subfloors, or lockable tamper-proof stations around the external perimeter of your property. After installation, you may notice some rodent activity for a few days as the treatment takes effect, but things generally settle once the population is under control. Remaining bait is left in place to manage any future intruders.

Rodents often require ongoing management, as new activity can occur over time. For some properties, especially those in high-pressure areas, regular inspections and follow-up baiting may be necessary to maintain control and prevent reinfestation.

Our Inspector may also recommend proofing entry points such as gaps in walls or floors, trimming back overhanging trees, and keeping vegetation well maintained to reduce rodent access. With the right combination of treatment and prevention, we help keep your property rodent-free.
How do I know if I have a rodent problem?

Common signs include droppings, gnaw marks, scratching noises in walls or ceilings, unpleasant odours, and damage to food packaging or wiring.

Yes. We use lockable, tamper-proof bait stations and secure placements in areas such as roof voids or subfloors to ensure safety for your family and pets.
You may notice activity for a few days after baiting as the treatment takes effect, but things generally settle within 1–2 weeks depending on the size of the infestation. Properties in high-pressure areas or with ongoing access points may require regular inspections and follow-up baiting for effective long-term control. Once rodent baits are consumed, they need to be replaced to ensure ongoing control.
A strong odour can sometimes indicate a rodent has died in an inaccessible area such as a roof void or wall cavity. If this occurs, contact our office and we can arrange a site visit to investigate and, where possible, remove the carcass or provide an odour absorbing bag to help neutralise the smell. Please note: Roof void cleaning is not included in this service.
We recommend sealing gaps in walls or floors, trimming overhanging trees, reducing clutter, and keeping vegetation and food storage areas well maintained.
